Lady Gaga looked and sounded amazing. I'm so glad she ditched the clown makeup she used to wear (although the red glitter eye shadow didn't do her any favors). She's quite pretty (haters be hatin') and super talented. I'm surprised she didn't play the piano herself.

As my husband put it, Beyonce is 'thick'. She's not fat, but she does not have the body to pull off that outfit. Plus that performance did not belong at the Superbowl. Different races may have different opinions on body size, but that is hardly racist.

Isn't it obvious? Because this is a once a year sporting event that is watched by the entire family - including young kids. At the risk of sounding like a prude, I don't want to watch a sexually suggestive performance in that venue (and that's putting it mildly) and I sure as hell don't think it's appropriate for kids to see. There's a time and a place, and that was not the time or the place. Frankly, if you can't sing without hypersexualizing your performance, then you don't belong on the stage - any stage - least of all at the Superbowl.
