| I have a little Sabrina. We (the immediate family) occasionally call her Brie or Briebs. A friend's child calls her Brina because he can't say Sabrina. Everyone else calls her Sabrina. I think it's not one of those names that people automatically try to shorten. |
| I think Sab would be the most obvious nickname for Sabrina. |
| Or Sabby |
Hahaha like Sabrina the teenage witch! |
|
LMAO OP!!
I LOVE how you started another thread about this just because you didn't like the answers you got here. Guess what you are going to get the same answers there too.

| The Sabrina I know had a nickname of Bini, pronounced beenee, and I think it's sort of adorable. |
She didn't!! I am also considering the name and wanted to get feedback from other's. I'm not sure how many people associate the name with the tv show as I didn't grow up here. It's an Italian name. |
| How about Serena? |
| My 3 yo daughter is Sabrina and I sometimes call her Brini or Brini-weenie. Everyone else class her Sabrina. Never gotten any teenage witch comments either, but we are 40 and never watched the show. |
Not yet! |
|
I'm a 40 something Sabrina and no one has ever given me a nickname. I've never gotten teased about my name.
I'm a little bummed out about its recent popularity. |
| love it. i wanted serena or sabine if youa re looking for alternatives. |
What recent popularity? It spent 8 years in the top 100, peaking at #53 in 1997. In 2014 it was #332. For comparison, #53 in 2014 was Paisley. |
| I think you can successfully fight a nickname if you want to. I have a first name with a very common nickname, but my mom instilled in me that the nickname was NOT my name, and I consequently never got called it. |
Agree. My name is Amanda. The only person who calls me Mandy is my grandmother. |
