West Wing: when Mark Harmon gets shot and CJ wanders the streets to what is to played one of the more overplayed songs on the new Millennium: Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah.
Ditto to the Dire Straits reference. I'm actually RE watching WW on Netflix. |
| Sorry, but the various Ray Charles 'performances' by the Huxtables. |

Two more from ER -
When Pratt (Mekhai Pfieffer) is dying. He cannot speak but he mouths the question, "PE?" to ask if he is having a pulmonary embolism. They tell him yes and tears stream down his face. He knows he doesn't have more than a few minutes to live. He has a diamond engagement ring in his pocket that he will never get to use. Also, when Carter pulls an engagement ring out of his pocket under the table. He is seconds from proposing to Abby when she makes a cynical comment about how love never survives. He puts the ring back in his pocket. The relationship is over. |

Goosebumps. |
And 95% of the show's fans rejoiced! My West Wing moment is the scene in the Cathedral. |
| Principal Skinner is really Armin Tamzarian |

In BH 90210, when Dylan held Toni Marchet in his arms as she laid dying in the road.
As a teen, it just really struck a cord in me. |
Oh my god, I forgot the whole mob angle! Dylan at his best was beautiful. So, in real life Rebecca Gayheart is married to Eric Danes and they are good friends with Soleil Moon Frye (who I am sad to be unable to like). Instagram. Authorized stalking. |
| I can't believe no one has mentioned any SITC episodes. Many moments stuck with me - top being Big asking Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte for advice on whether to go to Paris to try to win Carrie back and he says to them, "you're the true loves of her life." |
| West Wing: when President Bartlet took too many painkillers for his hurt back, and shows up to a senior staff meeting high. His final line in that scene: "I'm seriously thinking about getting a dog," has be rolling every time I re-watch it. |
Ugh, yes. She just needed her best friend. Or when Jess is sitting on the bridge all alone after the car crash and he tells Luke he made sure Rory was okay and his voice breaks along with my heart. |
My favorite SITC ep is "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," which occurs after Carrie and Big break up. I love the scene at the baseball game, where Miranda is a total baseball fan and Carrie is a fan of anything where it is okay to smoke and drink in the middle of the afternoon. She orders another beer and says she isn't drunk, she's sedated for her pain. Later she uses her press pass to stalk the new hot Yankee. Everything about this scene is perfect--Carrie determined to enjoy herself, Miranda leaning in and boring the others with her statistics, Samantha grimacing at the cheap ballpark beer, Charlotte cowering when a foul ball comes their way. |
