When David Silver's goofy blonde best friend accidentally shoots himself dead on Beverly Hills 90210 and everyone is whispering about it and David loses his shit and tells Donna "I don't care; let them stare, they've been staring at me all week!" And then he says "It doesn't matter what you say about a person once they're gone. It matters how you treat them while they're here."
Also from 90210 when Brandon's new boss doesn't want him to give his old boss proper notice to leave a job and Brandon tells him "I would never leave you high and dry. That's part of what you saw in me that made you want to hire me. So I know you understand that I cant do that to this guy either." Honestly, when I don't know what to do, I don't turn to Jesus. I ask myself "What wound Brandon Walsh do?" Because except for Emily Valentine, he always did the right thing. |

Thanks for mentioning these series. I tried to watch it a couple of years ago on Netflix but the video was so dark it was difficult to make out most of it. Also, the audio was muffled. It is on Amazon prime now and the image and audio are much better. |

Archie Bunker and Guiding Light: Trigger warning: when Edith was sexually assaulted and when Roger raped his wife. I was a kid but I knew what had happened to these women because it was happening to me. I didn't know it happened to grow up women too. I thought men only did it to little girls. |
