Wondering if DW is part of some kind of fight club...

OP, I'm with you on the knuckle bruises being odd. The only thing I can think of is that she's climbing ropes up a wall and wrapping the ropes around her hands? I'm reaching here, I realize.

She said she was doing triathlon training, not any of the above suggestions. Triathalon training does not induce the bruises described. There is an untruth somewhere in the story. I would try very hard to find out what is really going on.

Dude if you have 4 kids under 5 you will probably never get to have sex with your wife again, unless they are all at school and you both can meet in the day.

Crossfit type workouts? Maybe?

Cross fit sounds plausible from what I know about it. But she did not say Cross fit. She said triathlon. Unless I misunderstand the terms, those are two totally different sports.

Huh? Bruises from cleans, quats, wallballs, and burpees? What exactly do you think goes on inside a cross fit class?

Even with rough/violent sex, she wouldn't be this visibly roughed up. So I really doubt it's that.

Hopefully you're not an abuser trying to cover your tracks.

Sounds like she bruises easily. You should be more concerned about that. Easy bruising can indicate certain type of blood disorders and diseases. She should get a physical.

The only untruth here is that OP is probably just a troll. Cool story, bro.

She may just bruise easily, I know I do.

With that said, I have a friend who really goes in for BDSM and she has bruises and marks all over her body. But, not on her fists / knuckles.

I am thinking about taking krav maga (spelling?) but my husband hates to think about me getting beaten up...

I don't want to be alarmist or sound like I'm being unnecessarily cruel, but that was my worry too. I'm still scarred from the Charlie Brown episode I saw as a kid with the classmate who bruises easily.

It's not necessarily anything scary. Most often, easy bruising is caused by iron deficiency, which if she's a mother of 4 kids under age 5, is entirely possible.

op, prior to this was she acting differently? my friend was attacked and didnt twll her husband because she knew he would become over protective and suffocate her. She secretly took self defense class. eventually she did tell him thoigh

This has got to be a joke, what spouse doesn't just talk to their partner about things? Something is weird.

I agree w/ roller derby.

Triathlon includes cycling (she would be riding a racing bike hundreds of miles a week) running (she would be running dozens of miles a week) and swimming (late night pool?). None seem like night activities. Moreover once a week doesn't train you for a triathlon. You need to train 4-5 days a week. Maybe six. It's like marathon training but in three disciplines.

I bruised a lot playing judo but I never called it anything but judo or jujutsu. Plus even that was 3 days a week.

Seems fishy
