PSA: For all the confused men out there

Who do people think there is a single reason all women choose one type or another?

It's not your response I have a problem with; it's the false question.

Even the obese women? Nice guys always get dumped on for focusing on women out of their league. I'd think the same standard applies for women.

Who cares who obese women are attracted to? They're disgusting.

And yet, overweight and obese men are complaining that women don't find them attractive because they're not "bad boys" which is MRA code for "conventionally attractive" which is commonly understood to mean "not overweight or obese." And yet if you suggest that they're disgusting, they say, "How come you just like bad boys who treat you badly and blow off the good guys because they're overweight?"

Most guys are average to ugly, and these guys need to get a girl's attention somehow to have a shot. Maybe it's buying a motorcycle, learning to snowboard, or mountain climbing. Maybe it's just being much more confident than people would expect, based on your looks. Or, of course, maybe it's cash.

Mediocre looking men are helped by borderline jerky behavior...or at least cocky. Think Elaine being mildly interested in why Newman was so confident on Seinfeld.

"Maybe there's more to Newman than meets the eye."

Jerry: "no, there's less."

To fuck her brains out you have to first get her thinking about you. And for 80% of guys, looks alone won't work.

What we're telling you is NO

Women are, sadly for men, not as dumb as men like to believe. We sum up a man's value upfront, and then decide what we will accept from them. An ugly dude is already on thin ice, and him being rude just ruins every chance.

Now, having an interest- like snowboarding or whatever- that's always attractive, whether we're talking about a man or a woman.

I'll play along. How did you do this?

Money trumps all. Not with every attractive woman, but with enough that any sob with money can date 9s and 10s to his heart's content. Go to any expensive nightclub or resort and you can see it for yourself

I'm slightly underweight. In my experience impolite, overweight guys were more likely to have girls on their arm than polite, underweight guys. So, I think there's more variables involved than what you say. But, yes, girls are most attracted to guys who are neither over nor under weight and who are confident, but mostly well behaved.

And these shallow people deserve each other. The SOB with money who only value looks in a woman, and the highly attractive women who only value money.

I have NEVER seen this. Among my friend group, ten to one girls prefer guys who are skinnier over a fatty.

Looking over them and deciding whether they are attractive or not. You know- skimming over someone's body, taking in facial structure and body type.

SO true. The delusion and entitlement are staggering...

Oh come on. Fully half of women are of below average intelligence.

I'd say more like 80% if we go by this thread.

Actually, women, on average, have higher IQs than men.

Sorry bros. The truth stings....

In my school, the tubby guys on the offensive line got more dates than the bony guys in the chess club despite the former being kind of dicks and the latter being generally respectful.

Be honest with yourself. There is slim and then there is weak-looking, gangly, concave-chested skinny. Plus, I doubt thinness is all that is going on if you are having dating woes. Like the OP said, what does your face look like? Your hair, style of dressing, and personality? Stop playing the victim and live in the real world. Your options are as good as your looks. Don't think you can punch above your weight because you are a man.

Do we need to ship you some hooked on phonics? How are you so confused if you read the OP? Of course a woman will prefer an athletic man who happens to carry some extra pounds to do his job over a skinny, poorly dressed, socially awkward nerd likely with acne. Who do you think gets more men: the cheerleader who is mostly cute but carries some extra pounds or the overalls-wearing, frizzy-haired teacher's pet?

This is not that hard. Men just refuse to get it because you have a sense of entitlement. You think that women who are above your league should prefer you over men who are also above your league. That is not reality.
