The funny part? Tea Party saw through Boehner a long time ago. He has lied constantly. Cruz simply was someone in office who saw it as well, along with Lee, Paul, Gohmert, Gowdy, et al.

You mean Louis Gohmert, the intellectual giant who backed the bid of Allen West to become SOH and then thought he would be able to unseat Boehner? The Congressman who ensures stupid never sleeps?

I can see you have much respect for him. Boehner is indeed the Congressman who ensures stupid never sleeps. Or I should say corruption never sleeps.

Even if it means giving the President everything he wants?

Gohmert. And "respect" in the same thought. That's hilarious!

It means behaving like an adult. Shutting down the government is not part of the political process. It is the equivalent of taking away the ball because you don't like the score.

If you feel you have to shut down the government then you are an utter and complete failure as a legislator. Period.

Giving the President what he wants? What planet are you living on? We didn't get single payer, that's what we wanted. Instead, the President compromised and we instead got a watered down version of 1990s GOP healthcare reform (individual mandate)

Is publicly calling out news stations acting like an adult? How about Supreme Court judges? How about ignoring laws because you don't like them?

Gee, you would think that control of the House ensures he does not get everything he wants.

He knew there was NOTHING he could do, short of full-on illegal action, to get the American people to accept single-payer. That wasn't a compromise.

Actually, the American people felt denying old WWII veterans access to the monument in their honor was the epitome of playground games. More so, they considered it vindictive and cruel.

So I assume you will not be voting for Trump, then.

Anyone found voting for Trump should be sent before Obama's secret death panels for potential removal to a Jade Helm internment camp.

In the primary? Nope. Not even in my top 5.

The fact you would consider voting for five of the clowncar contenders will keep me awake tonight.
