People who ignore invitations to get together

OP here. I didn't think of it this way but perhaps you are right. Maybe that is why they are just ignoring, because they don't want me to suggest another day/time because they don't like me and don't want to get together. It's just depressing.

I’m sure that’s not it. Sometimes it takes a while to connect with certain people and sometimes it happens when you least expect it. Hang in there and don’t lose hope. It is rude though that people don’t reply and there’s no excuse for it. Don’t take it personally though and just keep yourself fulfilled in other ways and focus on doing fun things with your kids and family. Maybe join some outside activities and eventually you’ll start connecting. Don’t get depressed about it though it’s really not personal. Hang in there you will start making friends and connecting to people when you least expect it.
