OP, you probably aren't reading this thread anymore because of all the bitterness but I wanted to offer you some advice.
Take a look at how you talk. Do you "uptalk"? That is, do the end of your sentences have a rising inflection so it sounds like each sentence is a question. Uptalking makes women seem less confident and less mature. Also some women (like Paris Hilton) have vocal fry which also makes them sound younger. |

You are very right, looking young will be a huge blessing when you hit middle-age. Keep your eye on the prize!!
That being said, I suggest you give yourself a mini-makeover now. Go to your hairdresser + tell her you would like a more "mature/grown-up" haircut and style. Also, visit a make-up counter (Dept. store, Sephora, Merle Norman, etc.) and request make-up tips to make you look more polished and professional. Finally, go shopping in the Women's sections vs. the Juniors. |
