He may have closed down the brothel, for now, but he's still playing his political games. Maybe he's gone back to the Eyrie. Or he's keeping an eye on Sansa. |
I saw an article recently in which the author speculated that Tyrion will end up being a dragon tamer. In the books they discuss that he was obsessed with them when he was younger and probably knows more about them (from books, anyway), than anyone in Westeros. |

Jorah touched Daenerys
Will she get grayscale?? |
No I read that the Targaeryans are immune. I think it is safe to assume that Jon and Dany make it to the end of the story. Either of them dying is the only thing that would shock me. |
|
Isn't there something about " the dragon has 3 heads" that someone prophesized to Dany (my memory is fuzzy)? In connection with how she could take the Iron throne?
If so, and I didn't just make that up, I think the "3 heads" are Dany, Tyrion, and Jon. So one of them dying would absolutely shocked me. As far as I can tell, everyone else is far game. Except maybe Arya. Really don't know where there going with her, but there must be some reason she's in Braavos learning to be an assassin. |
| Don't read the books, then, PPs! |
I haven't read the books, but read some speculation that Jon may die in the season finale. The argument seemed to be based on Starks having died at the end of several previous seasons. |
Also needs to be direct contact, no? |
Yes, some readers also question his parentage. |
| Is the given wisdom that Dani is flying away from Meereen to some other locale? I took it that she and her dragon friend were just cruising around and would land back in Meereen. But since Meereen is a deathtrap and shithole and I never understood why she was spending the whole season there anyway perhaps you are right. So, another road trip for buddies Tyrion and Jorah? |
Yeah it's hard to say what they'll do with Jon since the season has diverted from the books quite a bit already- a couple characters still alive in the books were killed in the series this season, so perhaps they'll let Jon live, I don't know. Early on I always assumed he was the "ice" part of "Fire and Ice". |
That sucked and as a reader of the books- I found it unnecessary. The Sansa arc was okay because it was in the books and serves a purpose. Maybe the purpose here is to turn people completely away from Stannis as a viable throne contender- he'll get his, and I hope Davos delivers it. |
| I think they've gotten ahead of the books for a lot of characters. Maybe Stannis has his daughter killed but it hasn't happened in the books yet. |
| As an aside won't it hurt the books to have the series leap ahead of the books? I'm not sure why the author would agree to this.. |
Because they are two different entities entirely. So much has been changed, removed, and added to the shows. They may end up in relatively the same place, but how they get there will be pretty different I imagine. |
