Another friend worked with Angelina Jolie on an African aid project, and said she was "the real deal." He works in international development for a living, and was really impressed with her.

Alan Rickman was a dick. Billy Joel and Ethan Hawke were both really nice and unassuming.

pre Harry potter I was at a dinner party with Alan Rickman, total dick- also I had no idea who he was.

I'm the say it isn't so poster. Can you share what he did that was dickish? Total bummer - I hoped he wouldn't be that way.

I heard that Alan Rickman is in fact a really, really nice guy. On Prince of Thieves he bumped into an extra on set who he'd been a student with at RADA and just sat with him and chatted like old friends, there was no snootiness whatsoever.

+ 1 had the same experience meeting him

I thought he seemed sweaty and red-faced. And not that tall. Pp's must be short.

Not that tall?? He's 6'2". I was at the Wizards game, in the stands, the night Michael Jordan announced he was becoming involved with the team. Bill Clinton stood next to him in a box, and they did not look that far apart in height at all.

I met Brooke Shields several years ago and shook her hand while I was holding a clingy, screaming 2 year old. She was very gracious.

Ooh do I get to tell my Jared Leto story on here again?
He bought me a cup of coffee in the early 2000's whe. He was touring with his band in my college town.
I was in front of him in line and fumbling for change to pay for my coffee and he reached in with a "let me get this for you."
I was hot back then and smile sweetly thanking him.
Then told everyone Jared Leto hit on me by buying my coffee and followed me to the sugar and creamer station.

I met Norah O'Donnel at one of her husbands restaurants and she was 1) very pretty in person and 2) super nice and let me take a photo with her!

I love her, I would expect her to be gracious and to smell really good.

I've posted in these threads before. Met Jewel a few times and she has to be one of the sweetest people - but doesn't come off that way due to social anxiety. She gets overwhelmed easily. She always jokes she stalks us (core group of fans for years) on FB and Twitter, and she's not kidding! She loves social media!

Holly Wiliams - sweet, adorable, radiant, warm

Anya Marina - so SO genuine and funny

Ted Cruz - has to be one of the loveliest people. Whip-smart, very social, not an ounce of snobbery in him. He genuinely enjoys meeting people. He's one of those people where you try to be polite and not invade his space, but he really genuinely wants to chat. That man was raised right and it shows!

Montel Williams seems to enjoy me on Twitter. He follows me, retweets and favorites lots of my tweets. I have no idea why. I like the man, but don't know what I've done right

Met Bobby Flay at one of his restaurants. Very nice and polite. No one believes me when I say this.

Anonymous wrote:In HS my best friend and I were extras in a movie. Her mom was a movie producer and hooked us up. I was in a scene with Tom Arnold and movies take a LONG time to film. He and I were together for a little over an hour. He was so nice and funny and totally talked me and another extra up.

Granted, I was 15, but he was really awesome! His wife, Rosanne, was a total bitch and just shopped in the Polo store in Georgetown and yelled at everyone.

Same experience, met them when I worked at a Trump AC casino in the 90s. He was very nice and friendly; she was brash.

I also met Liza Minnelli. She was kind and sweet.

I feel like I've seen this anecdote on other threads - and I'm gonna say what I probably said then.

Jordan Catalano! Swoon.

Trent Reznor. He was very quiet, short and incredibly hot.

Was in an antique store with Joan Rivers. She was very nice.

Back in the day he, when he'd hang out in the Flats in Cleveland, his pick up line was pretty blunt. "Wanna go home and fuck?" He was turned down more often than a bed in a cheap motel that rents by the quarter hour.

Then he made it big and it worked every single time.
