Celebrity encounters, anyone surprise you? Disappoint you?

I was in the college in the early 90s and a friend briefly dated Wesley Snipes. I went to two house parties with him and out as a group a few times to a club. First off he is tiny and I didn't expect him to be. Second he is a total ass. Especially to staff. He wouldn't talk to anyone and he might answer with an eye roll or heavy sigh but if he wanted to talk to you you better give full attention and hang on his every word or he'd get pissed and say something bitchy. It was disappointing

I was on an elevator once and a lady got on, I was near the buttons so I asked "What floor?" no answer. So I glanced at her and she was staring at the corner of the elevator but there was no doubt it was Kirstie Alley. I thought she didn't hear me so I said, "going to p2 or can I press a floor for you" and she just shook her head and said "no" and never made eye contact. I was like ... the fuck?

Goldie Hawn once struck up a conversation with me while at a store looking at cookware. It was so normal and genuine, we were both wondering what color le creuset they had in stock that I thought I must be wrong, until I saw Kurt Russell taking a picture with a few other shoppers. I thought that was awesome.

John Waters is a friend of a friend and he is so friendly and nice and unassuming.

I knew Tracey Gold growing up and still keep in touch with her even though we now live in opposite coasts. She kind of gets this reputation as neurotic but she is incredibly warm and funny. She is very kind and always remembers special things about your life. She is a very dedicated mom.

Met Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson when they were married. Both were incredibly hot and nice. She was bubbly and he was polite.

Too bad that marriage didn't work out.

I met Brad Goreski on the street. He had a show on Bravo after being on Rachel Zoe's show. He was SO warm and kind and wasn't at all obvious about looking me up and down. He makes Canada proud.

A friend was in class with Fred Savage in college. She said he never brought pens and paper with him to take notes, and always had to borrow one from someone.

Another friend worked with Angelina Jolie on an African aid project, and said she was "the real deal." He works in international development for a living, and was really impressed with her.

Alan Rickman was a dick. Billy Joel and Ethan Hawke were both really nice and unassuming.

I chatted briefly with Jennifer Aniston while trying on clothes at a Seventh on Sixth party in NYC in the 1990s. She was gorgeous, friendly, and genuine.

Former federal courthouse employee. I met Chris Gordon (grew up watching him on local news, he hit it big with OJ coverage/also a lawyer) and out of all the many, many reporters I assisted, talked to, worked alongside, he was humble, sharp, polite, warm, friendly and very handsome. Even more handsome in person than on TV. He's positively tiny, though but in a very cute way.

Worked with him on and off for a year and he was unfailingly kind.

Now Milagros Ardin, Pat Collins, Peggy Fox...I have nothing nice to say about them! Pushy, conceited, arrogant, impatient describes the lot of them!

I.J. Hudson! Local reporter - remember him? I recall him as positively leering. I suppose I could turn heads in my mid-20s, but really, IJ, take a picture it will last longer! He used to be outside setting up for live shots and he'd just stare at any woman who'd pass by...and not in a subtle way. Kind of developed a rep!
