What is the most insulting thing someone has said to you?

"I don't want to be with someone beautiful, I want to be with you!" said my soon-to-be ex-boyfriend.

Sorry to all of you. I can't think of any thing to add. I know people have said mean things, but I must forget them easily.

Here's one- in junior high one of my brothers friends would call me Arkansas because he thought I had an accent. I'm from the Midwest and
I was so embarrassed.

My MIL - of English descent, hair is a mess. has a mole on her face with a hair. 30 lbs overweight, big boned. Always frowning. Needs her teeth cleaned.

Me - Eastern European, slight build. Great teeth.

Mom: Men always marry women who look like their MILs

Me: My husband didn't.

Mom: Yes he did.

At the beach on a family vacation, I was about 12. My mother tells me that she overheard some guy sitting near us describe me as looking like (someone he knew)…"but about 25 lbs. heavier."
She said it loudly and I was humiliated. Yes, I later developed an eating disorder (there were many weight comments, but that's the one I still remember).

WTF?

Sounds like some idiot thing my MIL would come up with. Sorry, pp. Though it is quite funny and I am somehow sure, quite obvious

"You have a dishonest face."

What a narcissist. I hope you're not friends any more.

Every time I see my aunt she muses, as if genuinely deeply puzzled, "You are SO photogenic." The clear implication is that I am ugly as a dog in real life but that the camera eats me up....

When my parents divorced, I was in college. My dad told my brothers and I that he was no longer our father. We were his "adult friends."

You are too for anyone to ever love you. Said by my mom

That's not insulting. It does remind me of that line from Return of the Condors: you're so beautiful, you could be a part time model.

"Are you having twins?"
Me: no
"Are you sure?"

No fuckface my doctor has just been lying to me for 9 months about how many small humans I am carrying

I am white and my son is biracial, and like many babies of color looked very white at birth, and then gradually got more color in his skin and curl in his hair. We were checking out at the grocery store one day, and the cashier, who I had seen several times before, asked me "Have you considered the possibility that his father is black?" When I replied "Actually, I know that his father is black" she must have realized that she just implied that I might not remember the race of all the men I had slept with because she started to stutter and apologize. I really think she meant "I wonder if his father is black", which still wouldn't be the greatest question, but sure beats what she asked.

INCREDIBLE!!!
