Planned Parenthood and other safe abortiom clinics require ultrasound for abortion

Not because a politician said so. It's a medical issue and not one politicians should be dictating.

Yes, it's a medical issue. Bad clinics are not using them as they should. Which was the point of regulation. Congrats. Women just voted for unsafe abortion ala Gosnell.

And politicians created Obamacare. The regulations are political. But that's ok?

Could be. Would you mind posting some of the positions that Cucinelli supported that you believe made him a RINO and the position a "TRUE Republican" would've taken?

I think your sarcasm detection radar might be faltering there, pp.

It's possible that my laughter could've shorted out my sarcasm detector, but I plead Poe's Law.

Where in the constitution does it say that the government must be downsized?

In any event, #6 was a typo - I meant #9 "Bailout and stimulus plans are illegal."

You stated more than just a number. Sorry. You actually made a direct statement and now say it was a nip umber error. Obama, is that you?

Anything not explicitly listed in the Constitution falls to the states. That's why Obama calls it a charter of negative liberties - it doesn't give progressives enough power to grow. The government has expanded well outside the Constitution, therefore, number 6 holds

no it hasn't. virigina has become sorta purplish post 9/11 after a massive influx of federal dollars that skyrocketed Nova the nova population. When the population came, other companies also relocated to tap into the 'knowledge worker' base thereby increasing influx of non-viriginians to VA.

Without 9/11, VA does not turn purple because nova doesn't become so overcrowded and blue.

I'm not a libertarian because I believe in national defense.

I wish Chris Christie was running in VA instead of NJ.

from an Asian perspective, R's are a complete turn off because of they are overtly Christian. And that's how many of the Asian-American community that I know feel (even though all of the families in question have HHI's between 300-700+) and benefit from low cap gains taxes, etc.

it is telling that the two highest Asian officials in the R party both converted to jeebus worship.

I actually don't think most R's or baggers are racist all that much.

I do think that R's and baggers have internal animosity to non-Christians.

A non-white Christian is MUCH more accepted in the party than a white who wears his atheism on his sleeve.

I don't think you know what RINO means. How is Cuccinelli NOT a republican? I agree they need better candidates. They would be in the governor's mansion this morning if they had let Boling run..

I was trying to see if the poster was committing the "No True Scotsman" fallacy. As above, if the PP was being sarcastic I plead Poe's Law.

Sorry PP. I didn't mean to quote you, too. Just the original RINO poster. If he/ she was being sarcastic, I missed it, too!

Nice fallacy. Northern Virginia's population and economy has been growing since WWII. But nice try there. You can pull the census data yourself, if you like.

Nice try, but Catholics broke Dem in three of the last four Presidential Elections. And Hispanic Catholics? They broke 75/25 for Obama twice.

If I were a Virginia Republican, I would do whatever I could to stop anyone building apartments and Whole Foods stores within walking distance from metro stations -- especially the new Silver Line. Public transportation and organic food just attracts Democrats.

>>>>>>>>>>

Obamacare does not compel any citizen to submit to a procedure. It says what procedures must be OFFERED. Not COMPELLED. That is a huge difference.

You may be required to have insurance but you don't have to use it.

Your insurer may be required to offer you birth control but you don't have to swallow it.
