Mother-in-law makes us say grace in my house

My inlaws always say grace at our house, which is fine, we just sit there silently until they are done. I would not like it if they insisted on all of us holding hands or singing, and would probably not agree to do so. Sitting there silently while they pray seems respectful and we would always do that.
