How many pizzas to order for a birthday party with 15 kids and whatever parents tag along?

I'd order one large pizza per kid, and get a variety--cheese, pepperoni, supreme, vegetable. Everyone who eats pizza will eat cheese, so make half the order cheese. I'd also get a few of those cut vegetable platters from the grocery store, just to class it up a bit for the adults. So 20 pizzas and tip the delivery driver well.

Assuming you’ll have other food, ask for the double cut and calculate 3 pieces per person (that’s 1.5 normal)

Thank you for the sane response, unlike PP

10YO’s can eat a ton - I think this PP is on the mark quantity-wise. But i would do a small crudite platter and a fruit salad/platter. I am consistently surprised by the amount of fruit/veg voluntarily consumed by kids and this stuff is also good leftovers.

20 pizzas???? No. And adults are not going to stay. 10 max and you’ll have 2 at least leftover.

Do this and become known as the really cheap mom. I think you should order between 8-10 pizzas. You always want your guests to feel like there is more than enough to eat.

Amen - Mrs. McDuck up in the house tonight!
