The only time that happened to me was when we ran short due to an extra fifteen people (parents, siblings) showed up. Not kidding , rsvp for one kid plus parent and then the whole family of six shows up. Or showing up with siblings after not responding. I was mortified. |
three pizzas for fifteen kids? Are you crazy? |
That means there wasn't enough. No one wants to eat the last slice. |
More baffling is how you dredged up a 4 year old thread. |
Wow. How trashy of the hosts. |
| It's called etiquette, not being raised by wolves. You want to invite all these kids, well their parents have to drive them and more than likely they will bring your child a gift. Not to mention your kid is going to have a great time with their friends, the least you could do, as a courtesy is feed the PARENTS as well. They did not have to come to your party. I can't believe how tacky and rude ---all the people who disagree on having enough food, in case the parent want to snack on something. You act like they are doing you a favor, they did not have to come to your party. A little kindness....they are being more than kind by coming to your child's birthday party and you don't even want offer them a slice of pizza. TALK ABOUT TACKY AND RUDE. |

QUESTION-
If I do 8 pizzas.... are were talking larges or mediums??? |
|
Hi everyone,
Im having a 3 yrs old birthday party with 15 kids and 30 adults. How many pizzas and what size would be enough? Im hearing 8 pizzas but not sure if that's mediums or larges as both are 8 slices where large is 14in and medium is 12in. Please give me your advice TIA |
| Party for 10 year old - 13 adults have responded yes in evite (not sure if they plan on staying or not), expecting 20 kids. How many Large pizzas to order? |
Various online calculators: https://calculate-this.com/how-many-pizzas-buy-calculator https://www.inchcalculator.com/pizza-calculator/ https://pizzaneed.com/how-much-pizza-should-i-order/ |
That is what I do for my DC party. Pizza for kids and sandwiches and coffee/water for parents. |
I always figure 2 slices per person (including the parents) for a mealtime party and 1.5 slices pp for a non-mealtime party. I always have extra but don't mind taking home the leftovers. In my experience, parents are happy to have a slice (or two) if there is clearly plenty to go around, but when people do the "well, there are 15 parents and maybe half will want pizza so I'll get one extra" then nobody touches it. |
If you really can’t afford a couple of extra pizzas then you really should skip the party hosting. |
[headdesk] Please tell me you haven't procreated. |
Assuming you’ll have other food, ask for the double cut and calculate 3 pieces per person (that’s 1.5 normal) |
