despite the criticism from anonymous sources, and the general aspect of not looking forward to the event, i encourage you to just have fun with the whole thing! it can and should be really fun to find pretty things to wear. parties should be fun too, even if you are surrounded by pre teens and adults you don't necessarily like. dance! drink!
