| I don't get why some people think OP should take medical measures (which haven't worked for her, by the way) because some people don't like to see body hair on women, which is totally natural (and not a contagious disease, unlike an open sore!). |
Are you seriously comparing your big open sore to a woman with hairy legs and underarms? Hope you never have daughters. And before you go calling me crunchy/granola/etc: I shave and/or wax regularly, thanks.
|
| Who cares OP, you are pregnant. WHen I was pregnant, I was fat, hairy and happy. Rocking my two-piece bathing suit, body parts jiggling, waddling about at the pool. I did not give a rat's ass what anyone thought. I was too busy trying not to pass out under the intense heat to even care. |
ITA with this. How far is OP supposed to go to conform!? Wow. |
| I see a lot of stuff I'd rather not see at the pool. I wouldn't be very happy to see a pregnant Robin Williams in a swimsuit, but it is a public pool. I'd also rather the women (and frankly the men too) who visit my pool work out more and generally look more like hot young 20 year olds, but I don't get to choose that. |

Maybe try Tend Skin? (link below). It is an after shave lotion that keeps bumps away -- it was the only thing that stopped me from getting bikini bumps.

lovely sight . . . Thanks for the image. Why did you even subject yourself to the heat if you were ready to pass out?
|
| I would probably give you a grossed out look and wonder why you keep coming to the pool as hairy as you are. Sorry, I am honest. Maybe take up another hobby OP. One that require clothes. People are being nice on this board but not honest. |
OP here. Are you seriously suggesting me to find another activity just because YOU are grossed out? LOL It's gotta be a joke (the suggestion, not the grossed out part). Anyway, thanks to all for being honest (or not ) it really helps me to feel better.
|
OP should have to take up another hobby because YOU don't want to see a hairy woman? You are an asshole and I hope you have a disfiguring accident or something so that people will treat you like a leper. Jerk. |
Not true. A lot of people just don't care about OP's leg hair and it does not gross us out. I think it is weird that it bothers you. That's me being honest. |
But it is not just the legs. We are talking arm pits, arm, ass crack, pubic hair, and everything. I do not know what doctor she goes to, but she may want to find another doctor. Treatment OP...treatment. And if you are fat and hairy, and I am not talking pregnancy fat, then yes, another hobby please |
| I would think you were an old-school feminist (which is positive for me), and it would probably make me smile and inspire me to revisit my no-shaving college days myself. |
OP mentioned she would have hairy legs at the pool. I don't recall her planning to expose her ass crack. For the record, I don't want to see your ass crack either, regardless of hair. |
OP here. Fat or not, hairy or not, swimming is one of the most complete exercises one can practice (even better during pregnancy) and you're suggesting me to look for something else just because it makes YOU uncomfortable? You gotta be kidding me! I don't mind the honesty, I know that people get grossed out... what I can't believe is someone being so selfish to the point they'd suggest such a stupid thing. This is unbelievable!!!! |
