Obama's birth certificate, how we know it exists and why you haven't seen it

Responding to birthers is like negotiating with terrorsts. It just validates them. Unfortunately we (including yours truly) have been doing it far too much right here.

It's the only reason that Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't run for President. It was one of his life's goals, but since he wasn't born in the US, he isn't permitted to run for the presidency.

THat's why everyone wants proof of Obama's legitimacy, because they're unsure if he's even ~legally~ fit to be the president.

ANd the real question here is..when all of this went down originally..when his citizenship was originally called into question and the demands of a birth certificate were made, why did it take them so long to finally "show us" the proof we wanted? Why couldn't they just bring it out immediately and say "Hey, all you nay-sayers. Here's the proof you wanted. Now shut the fuck up about it."?

Because (a) the only legal authority (state of hawaii) verified his birth, and (b) let's be honest people wanted to question whether this black man with a muslim name is a "real American". John McCain did not have to spend a year defending the legitimacy of his candidacy, despite a lack of clear precedent for a person born in a foreign country to a family on a military post. We were plenty ready to call this white son of a naval officer "natural born".

Just let it go. There are more questions relating to John McCain's legitimacy to run for Pres than Barack Obsma's, but McCain is white. Palin's daughter has unprotected sex and baby out of wedlock, it's a "miracle" and evangelicals are praising them for "saving the baby's life" by not aborting, not calling the kid a dumbass for sleeping around pre-marriage (a "no no" in the Church) and for not knowing how to use contraception if she's going to. DUH! The White House has two Harvard grads in it right now. The problem is they're black. If Obama's kid had had a baby out of wedlock, we'd have been hearing all sorts of racial slurs about why, wouldn't we? And Obama was the one who to everyone to keep families out of politics and let it go. So LET IT GO ALREADY. His birth certificate is old news. It's been vetted by people much higher up than the folks on DCUM. They don't let you run for pres if you're not legit. Stop being a troll and move on. Find a real topic to discuss.

regardless of if obama was born in hawaii, kenya, or indonesia, bottom line is he wasnt born in any of the 50 states in america.

people who believe he is a citizen are so sad and us real americans who know the truth about him being born outside the unites states, whether it be hawaii or kenya know the truth and cant wait for november to come when he is defeated

Are we now revoking statehood? In that case I nominate Arizona, Mississippi and Alabama. We could justify at least two of those on deficit reduction alone.
