| The original birth certificate from 1961 and signed has never been released from Hawaii. Only the 2007 lazer printed, unsigned, not sufficient to recieve a passport/ssn certificate of live birth has been released. Obama has spent 2 million dollars to keep the original from being released. Fortunatley, Iowa and Arizona along with other states are going to require it to be on the ballot in the next election. FUN! |

Why do you lie like that. You know what you are saying is not true. The document Hawaii provides is sufficient for getting a SSN and a passport. This 2 million dollars thing is a lie. Face it, if you have to keep repeating these same lies over and over, it is because the etruth is not on your side. |

Generally, when you suspect someone of something bad, but have no proof, you give them the benefit of the doubt. But there have been times in history when just suspecting someone of something was enough to try and execute them. Those times were called WITCH HUNTS and LYNCHINGS. The people who organized and conducted those events were JUST LIKE BIRTHERS, they were ASSHOLES. Big assholes. BASTARDS too. It takes an ASSHOLE-BASTARD to accuse someone without proof and find them GUILTY, because you don't like their looks or the sound of their name. You think that if enough people make the same accusation toward someone, then they are guilty by the mere weight of the accusations. But TRUTH doesn't work that way.
Back to lynchings for a second. The very word implies RACISM. So does the word BIRTHER. Birther means "one who accuses President Obama of not being American because he is BLACK and has a foreign-sounding name." BIRTHER = RACIST, because they would not conduct themselves this way with a white presidential candidate. "PROVE IT!" You say to me. OK, I will: FACT: You did not care that JOHN McCAIN WAS NOT BORN IN THE UNITED STATES, and that is a matter of historical fact, you can't even dispute it. You don't care where he was born because he is white. As a matter of record, he was born in the Panama Cannel Zone at a civilian hospital. It was not in any way a part of the United States. His Birth Certificate is FOREIGN, not American! But this is not of interest to you, because you do not want to lynch a white guy. If McCain had been elected President, would the Democrats have tried to use his foreign birth to get his Presidency discredited? NO. Do you know why? Because Deomcrats give people the benefit of the doubt. We judge people by their actions and their intensions. We don't try to win elections on technicalities, rumors or lies, or to besmirch the good name of a man because of circumstances like where he was born or the color of his skin. If McCain would have been elected, we'd have accepted his foreign birth certificate and moved forward with you. So please accept our Persident's legitimate American Certificate of Birth and start judging him on the content of his character, and his very solid leadership in these difficult times. And try to look inside yourself, and find the better side of you; racism is degrading to any American who carries it and gives it safe harbor in his or her heart. Racism is at the heart of the Birther Movement. |

The Court, with the same five conservative justices, turned down a suit on the issue, on Dec. 8, 2008. If there were not enough votes to hear the case, there were clearly not enough to declare him ineligible. And that was before he became President, when it would have been far less disruptive. Recall that we liberals, despite being pissed at the Court for intervening in Bush - Gore, despite the fact that Gore won on the national vote, and despite the fact that it was almost certain that the butterfly ballots and other Florida irregularities caused the Florida vote to switch from Gore to Bush despite the wishes of the majority, made less of a fuss than the birthers are making over a very questionable technicality of birth location of the son of an American mother. And to pat us liberals on the back again, we are respectful enough of our fellow citizens to discuss this silly issue as though it deserved comment. |

Oh, we'll be revisiting this thread after the courts knock these laws down. Maybe you should start checking your insurance to see whether grief counseling is a covered service. |
