OP here - he wasn’t elderly - he was like 50/55. I am honestly in shock that people are arguing that it’s ok for someone to get out of their car - for any reason. Flick me off fine. Start going 10 mph - very dickish but ok. But block me in and get out? Insanity.

What rule of the road says to honk at drivers not going the speed you want them to?

Are you guys ok? It literally doesn’t matter what she did to him, you cannot get out of your car and confront another driver. That is psychotic and also stupid - what if the other driver is more psychotic than you and shoots you or something???

It literally does matter.

It’s completely crazy behavior to get out of your car like that. Even if op was a rude hot head (and that’s not how it seems to me) it’s an absolute clown move.

Porsche guy seems like a retired guy who has time to drive safely and to educate other drivers.

OP is the only person in this story who broke the law.

Also when he drove away he took off flying - to the point that I wanted to be like sir there is a speed camera right ahead!!

There is no friendly honk. You are both unhinged.

This guy was not going 20 in a 30 on Military which is a hill!

Can a Porsche go 20? With its torque I think it idles at 25!

It’s not crazy behavior. But since you seem to be as much of a clown as OP, keep your perspective in mind before you get behind the wheel and think to behave like OP.

I feel like I’ve entered some alternate universe.

For those of you with teen drivers, if you had to pick one would you rather (1)they honk once at someone going to well below the speed limit or (2) throw the emergency brake and stomp back to confront someone they feel honked wrongly at them?

I tell my teen to never use the honk unless someone is reversing towards them and they can’t get out of the way.

Of course you tell your teen not to honk at people-we all do. Are you saying that you would RATHER they put the car in park, exit the vehicle (and angrily walk back to confront a mildly discourteous driver) than honk once? Good luck with that!

Why do you keep adding conjecture? OP never said the man angrily walked up to her to confront her.

She says he was red faced psychotic and scary when he left his car to come ask her that her problem was so…

It actually is:

It shall further be unlawful for any person at any time to use a horn otherwise than as a reasonable warning or to make any unnecessary or unreasonably loud or harsh sound by means of a horn or other warning device.
https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacodefull/title46.2/chapter10/article7/

OP was warning the driver about anything. She was pissy that she couldn’t drive faster.

She was describing his complexion as ruddy to explain his skin color just like in the same sentence she described his hair color. You’re just continuing to add conjecture to this post.

Random adjectives with zero explanation? OP was pissed she was called out on shitty behavior.

Sure he was. OP was an impatient loon who never imagined someone wouldn't immediately cave to her demands. OP reeks of entitlement.
