| Also MAP is used for enrichment qualification and compacted math in 4th/5th grade, as well as middle school math placement. Definitely not only important for grades 3/5/8. |
| My 8th grade kid was still waiting to see where he fell in the percentiles since they re-normed MAP this year to decide whether to apply to some of selective magnet programs. But too late now... |
| Who do we need to contact to get these scores? Insane that MCPS hasn't released yet. |
| We got them in a printed form today. |
Put your head in contact with your pillow, and check ParentVue tomorrow. Repeat until you get the scores. |
Wow, super helpful. Your advice sure helps hold mcps accountable. |
| Our teacher said they have the scores and he gave them to us last week when we asked. |
| Still nada |
ditto
|
| This is silly. |
No, it's bad communication. I don't know why MCPS sends out all these stupid emails about weekend activities that few people will attend because they're far away from most people, but send out calendars saying: the testing window for MCPS is X, your kid's teacher will tell you the approximate test date, you will get the test scores by date Y. |
I don't think it's just a communication issue. Our principal said she asked about when the MAP scores would be available and got no answer. There is some delay and nobody is explaining why. |
FWIW, still nothing...

Same here. What gives? |
| Doesn’t MCPS Central Office have a director of testing under its office of shared accountability? I looked in the directory and couldn’t see anyone listed… |
