| Have been more than a month... |
| Was wondering the same. Last year it was posted 10/15. |
| When can we expect the scores to be uploaded? |
No, the window ended 10/10 (later than in past years) so it has only been 1.5 weeks. Usually takes between 1.5-3 weeks after the window closes to go up so this is still well within the range of normal. |
| Bump - any idea of when this will go out? |
Just checked. Still no dice...
|
| I thought these are usually handed out at conferences. |
Not at our school Our kid's teacher told us verbally about our kid's DIBELS result during the conference with her laptop turned away from us. We asked for a copy but she said she couldn't give it to us. |
Ever since they started doing DIBELS, we've always gotten a printed DIBELS report at the conference. MAP is posted online and then I think we also get the scores as part of the conference. |
We always get MAP and DiBELS at parent-teacher conferences in November, but the MAP scores are also posted online in October so you don't have to wait for the conferences to see them. |
| Are the MAP scores released from each individual school or through the county? I thought that the individual schools already have access to these reports. Don’t know what the hold up is. |
My understanding is that schools have access and you can ask the teacher at any time. But if you don't want to bug the teacher about it, MCPS puts it up for the whole county on ParentVue, usually on the same day around 1.5-3 weeks after the MAP window closes (this year the window closed 10/10 so I expect they'll be up sometime this week.) |
| Chill out. They’re posted around when 1st quarter report cards come out. |
| Like 50% of my school's 9th graders didn't even finish the MAP test last month. |
Or tell your kids to write down the number that pops up on their screen and you will know the day they take the test. My kids have been doing this since they were in 2nd grade. |
