No Fall MAP report on ParentVue yet?

My 6th grader was told there wasn't time for them to take MAP this semester.

What middle school? That doesn’t sound likely to me

I'm skeptical a teacher has the power to make that kind of decision.

Fall MAP is needed as a baseline for students. Unless there's some special accomodations in place, your student is likely mis-stating something.

Still nothing? Aren’t we at 3 weeks tomorrow?

Teachers at our MS were casual about the test. My kid had to ask the teacher about it and only after that was she allowed to take it during lunch.

My 3rd grader took math on September 25 and reading September 17th. If it shows up on the screen when they are done, it should be automated and it should take hours to get all scores online. Ridiculous.

They intentionally wait to do it until all scores are in (10/10 this year.). But not sure why it takes so long after that ..

I think it's because they have to get the county norms to put on the report for all students before the reports get uploaded. It's one of the bars on the report (orange bar?) To show how your kid did vs the county vs the country.

Regardless, it shouldn't take this long after the window has closed.

Checked and re-checked. Nothing.

This doesn’t sound real. They are mandatory.

For K and 1st graders, they don’t display the score. I have no idea how they are doing in math. And they don’t post Dibels online.

That's not true, they do a math test for K, 1 and 2 and post MAP scores online. Not DIBELS though.

What is the rush to know the scores? What will you do with them now vs in a few weeks? Not being snarky, genuinely curious as I barely look at the scores when I do get them.
