Canned items will go up as most aluminum for cans is sourced outside the US. Regarding Trump, would you trust someone with your money who has gone through at least five bankruptcies?

Chuck roast was 9.99/lb at Costco last week.

Chuck.

That’s a product unlikely to be affected by tariffs. Why so high?

Beef from Brazil, same place your coffee likely comes from. 50 % tariff for American shoppers.

So? I never buy coffee outside the house and now I’ll still pay more.

Where do you think most of the beef Americans eat comes from?

We are paying for Trumps groceries so it's cheap to him. Let them eat cake!

Wait a second! Trump has been very clear about these things:
Tariffs benefit American shoppers.
Climate change is a con job.

So, it can’t possibly be the tariffs and no way it can be the “con” of a drought!

What is it??

This is going to put small coffee shops/ cafes and small coffee roasters out of business. Trumps tariffs are a tax on the people.

Many small businesses are closing because of these tariffs.

I don't know how Trump is personally profiting from the tariffs but I know he is. Half of that $7 increase, $3.50, is going directly into his pocket.

He is such a fool.

Those trillions from tariffs are coming from Americans wallets!

Especially mine because I can't function without my morning coffee.

Anonymous wrote:What brand of coffee? I just wouldn’t buy it at that price increase. My SIL buys McDonald’s brand and it went up a high amount. My coffee went up about $2.

We buy Folgers and a can that used to be $8 is now $14.

For 22oz? I paid $16.99

Safeway had them for $12.99 the other day if you bought 5 or more. You bet I did.

Should we also stop eating? What a dumb thing to say.

It’s far more complicated than that. Yes, it’s fun to blame Trump for everything but there is a rats nest of problems with the beef industry, globally and in the US. The tariffs are the icing.
