Grocery store prices for coffee went up $7 this month

Anonymous
I thought it was a mistake, but my brand of coffee increased $7 this month. Trumps 50% tariff on Brazil feels like a penalty on my wallet. I pay the penalty not Brazil. Stupid.

Working as intended. As everyone anticipated (except for Trump and maybe you?)

So much winning.

Release the Epstein files!

The tariffs are a penalty on US citizens. We will pay up or no coffee. So stupid and unfair to Americans!

The economy is great right?

Noticed a huge bump in coffee prices a few weeks ago. Along with other grocery prices. Definitely a problem.

But Trump told the U.N. yesterday that grocery prices are down. Are you saying he’s a liar?!

They should make coffee in murkaeffyeah!

Oh wait.

(They do, actually but Kona coffee — good stuff — is even more expensive than tariffed imports).

But didn’t you hear Trump say that we are brining in trillions in tarrif money? 😂😂😂😂

He is such a fool.

He may be bringing in tariff money but it doesn’t help us regular Americans. We are stuck with high prices while he diverts federal money from programs that help us like public health and research and actual terrorism investigations to his pet obsessions and vendettas against his personal enemies.

Those trillions from tariffs are coming from Americans wallets!

I don’t understand why nobody is talking about this. Last year all we heard about was the price of eggs.

What brand of coffee? I just wouldn’t buy it at that price increase. My SIL buys McDonald’s brand and it went up a high amount. My coffee went up about $2.

When we joined Costco a year or two ago the 3lb can of ground coffee was 16.99. Now it's 23.99. My friend told me it's due to a bad harvest and not Trump but who knows.

It is still cheaper than Starbucks on a cup-per-cup basis.
