That’s also true. Brazil’s drought has a direct impact on coffee prices. And that’s just looking at one country.

We buy Folgers and a can that used to be $8 is now $14.

So far, many companies have been absorbing the tariffs instead of passing it on to us. But it can’t continue. 2026 will see the full brunt of tariffs tacked on to our groceries, gas, construction.
Many companies are reluctant to open new plants or locations due to economic price of having to absorb the tariffs as long as they have.

That's why stocked up in Spring before looney felon's 100 days

And? What’s your point?

Extreme weather problems in both Brazil and Vietnam has affected global coffee prices. Doubtlessly the tariffs aren't helping either but prices would still be going up.

For the people ranting about Trump (and I don't like the tariffs either) are you the same people who were claiming Biden's inflation was only transitional or that claimed you didn't feel it or even that it was right wing misinformation? Just asking as I see some of the same writing styles....

Because Trump is in power. DUH. If a Democrat was in power the media wouldnt STOP talking about it. Ask yourself why that is. Who benefits from all of this---- billionaires!

Did you blame Biden for the price of eggs when it was actually due to avian flu?

You do realize that something like three dozen countries will no longer send parcels to the USA because of the tariffs, yes?

No why would anyone call someone who stopped 7 wars a liar? Please. -DP

Biden didn't impose totally nonsensical tariffs that he then passed onto all of us, so your example is a false equivalence.

I do mail order from a coffee roaster. It went up minimally (maybe $2) a few months ago but it’s been the same since then. Buy a different kind if you don’t like the price.

The 50% tariff (which we pay) just kicked in on products from Brazil. Prices on coffee just shot up.

What brand of coffee is not imported and therefore not tariffed? Your mail order coffee is about to get a lot more expensive sweety.

My groceries have not gone up since Trump took office. I shop at Aldi, Lidl, and a farmers market.
