Where is the outrage about the Israeli starvation of Gaza?

Interesting. Would you say the same about the siege of Leningrad, where up to one million people died of hunger?

The war in Gaza would end today if Hamas surrendered and agreed to live in peace with Israel.

How exactly might one live in peace with a neighbor who asserts their right to attack you (for any reason or none at all) as part of their “preemptive self-defense” doctrine, but denies you the same right?

You look at history, and see that Israel leaves alone those who leave them alone, e.g., Egypt, Jordan, and other former enemies who have made peace with Israel. Who refuses to make peace? Palestinians. Who reaps the consequences of their aggression? Palestinians. Who can put an end to it? Palestinians. They just don't want to.

it was war. And in the end the Soviets won, as will the Israelis, despite terrorist pinpricks all along the way. The Germans suffered dramatically in the Soviet Union, and could avoided all their own losses had they not invaded to begin with, just as Hamas could have avoided all this by not invading on Oct 7.

Remind us all what happened to the “winning” Soviet Union, eventually.

No, they leave alone those who are paid to suffer in silence aside them.

And the sovereign nations of Lebanon, Syria, Iran … none of those sovereign nations have launched an attack against Israel first to warrant Israel’s “preemptive self-defense” against them.

Since your response will be so predictable, let’s just jump ahead … why shouldn’t the Palestinians have complete justification for any attacks made against Israel and the Israeli people based on the terrorists (the settlers) who launch repeated attacks against the Palestinians? Israel should be fair game since the settlers are attacking them, right?

Israel can go F itself, for the shitstain parasitic "country" that it is.

Lol they’ve not left Jordan alone. There’s a fence between the border. Israel moves its fence centimeters into Jordanian territory each and every year thinking Jordanians don’t notice. They notice.

Israel has also not left Syria alone. Syria became the Iran vs Israel war dress rehearsal for over 10 years.

Egypt and Lebanon is left alone only because Israelis can’t cross past Hamas and Hezbollah

Israel also steals the entire Jordan River from Jordan despite having access to the sea and jordan being landlocked. They don’t act like a good neighbor that wants friends because that’s not what they want. They want control over everything

I cannot persuade them otherwise, I have tried.

“universally?” What sort of people do you know? Very young? Very old? MAGA? A wide cross section?

I’m horrified. And terrified. But I also feel helpless, and would welcome direction. My political representatives are doing their bit, so I don’t see inundating them with calls. If I knew Republicans, I’d be trying to influence them, but that’s not a realistic option.

+ 1 I don't understand how rational people can not hold Hamas, and all the Palestinian governing bodies that came before Hamas, accountable for the horrible state of the Palestinians. I don't see any pro-Palestinian protesters, who claim to be for peace, protesting against the violent, terrorists Hamas. Those protesters are not pro-peace -- the are pro-Palestine, at any cost, no matter the human suffering. And they cling to the delusion that someday they will win. They lost a long time ago. They are the losers and need to accept that. Negotiate a deal that's less than ideal, sooner rather than later so less Palestinians have to die. It's all they're going to get.

Np.

I am done with Israel and its supporters. ‘Never again’ for me means I will never vote for or support a politician who supports Israel. And I was a moderate before.

To the Jewish people of the US, many of whom I have considered friends - if you supported Israel and made excuses through this, I’m sorry but I’ll never look at you the same again, ever. I will never ever support another Israeli cause. You had a unique chance to change this, to call on your synagogues to challenge Israel’s policies, to call on them to call out AIPAC’s perverse involvement in US elections, to call out US funding of this slaughter, to call out the travesty of college students being attacked and doxed by thugs like Bill Ackman for protesting this tragedy, and to call out all the phony claims of anti semitism for people expressing sympathy for the Palestinian cause.

To those who did, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know there are kind, decent people everywhere.

Protesting? They’re trying to find food and not get shot. Sorry they didn’t make up the right signs for you.

Hamas has actually downplayed starvation because it hurts them politically. Most of this reporting comes from Al Jazeera. How ironic Al Jazeera is banned in Israel and most of their allies like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE.

Qatar is really the focus Israel should have been focused on instead of Iran. Al Jazeera is based in Doha. The same place that funds Hamas, gave money to Mamdani’s campaign for NY mayor, and gave Trump an Air Force one plane. It’s also the place the Iran war ended as Trump immediately called the war off when Iran supposedly sent a bomb toward a U.S. base in Qatar.

Qatar’s US military base is its shield of armor but Qatar has ended up the renegade in this region always going against the grain-accepting a US base in the first place was a move that took balls. At one point, they pissed off Saudis and Emiratis a few years ago by befriending Iran and in the 90s, they were the first to befriend Israel also pissing off the rest of the ME.

Qatar is a fascinating country because they seem to act just like Trump and play both sides/change sides on a whim

This sums up what I feel about anyone who supports the Palestinians. They support terrorism to make political change in the world. They support sacrificing Palestinian civilians for the sake of statehood, not because it's right but because they just don't want Jews to win. I will never forgive you.

I'm talking about all the Arabs that are protesting in America, pretending to be pro-peace Americans when they're really only for their side winning.
