That’s a technique to gain compliance. The suspect wouldn’t put his hands behind his back. He was resisting. That is what happens. It’s not hard to tell that posters here live sheltered lives in UMC neighborhoods.

Read the comments below the video. They’re a bunch of know nothing conspiracy theorists that believe there are bounty hunters making arrests.

Officers are supposed to use control holds and leverage-based techniques or joint manipulation to get compliance. https://www.policemag.com/training/article/15346453/control-tactics-and-counter-tactics https://www.police1.com/police-training/articles/defensive-tactics-training-capturing-the-arm-with-a-lever-arm-9rgyx1iUGmuwSQlf etc.

Techniques are supposed to be reasonable and proportionate. Punching someone repeatedly while they are lying face down is typically not sanctioned and would only be excusable in a case where a police officer were being assaulted and defending themselves. Clearly this officer was not being assaulted or defending himself. What we're seeing there is poor policing or someone who was improperly trained.

What you’re seeing is an unbadged bounty hunter/contractor violating the 5th Amendment rights of a random gardener. One of the officers is federally badged and seems to be directing the scene, but he doesn’t have control of the goon squad. The rest of them are wearing generic “POLICE” insignia and are unbadged. They are likely deputized contractors.

The bounty hunter thing isn’t true. Stop spreading misinformation.

You counter the claim….with a random Substack. Appeal to authority logical fallacy.

What’s the practical difference between a deputized bounty hunter and a contractor? Zilch.

Do you have any evidence of the bounty hunter claim? Other than a single viral TikTok video?

Um dozens of videos of guys in sneakers, shoddily patched together equipment, internet-bought “ICE” or “POLICE” plate patches or no patch at all, and out of state civilian license plates on unmarked civilian SUVs chasing brown people in residential neighborhoods and parking lots?

So many of these clowns are not wearing ICE-issued gear. They look like weekend Temu LEO clowns on steroids.

Use your brain, jaggoff.

Those are the vehicles federal LEOs drive. My DH is a LEO with a DOJ law enforcement agency. His unmarked SUV with out of state civilian plates is parked in our driveway right now. He wears really ugly sneakers to work. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Well hopefully he’s not on these ICE man hunts, chasing anyone who looks brown through the streets s. It’s too bad - a lot of these LEOs will be so f#cked up mentally from these moperations. Lots of PTSD, suicides, depression, family abuse.

Don’t ask for a handout.

Does your husband know you’re off your meds.

There is no proof of bounty hunters or contractors or the NYT would be reporting it.
