Go to hell, Carolina, go to hell!

How is the weather in Ridgewood, NJ? I love that your rat koach lost his first and last game to the Heels! Karma!!!

Your comment made me curious to google, interesting history. Do they claim being first in your like UNC does? 😀

The first public college in America was the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It was founded in 1789 and began operating in 1795. The University of Georgia also claimed the title of being the first public university, as it was chartered in 1785. However, the University of North Carolina is considered the first to actually begin holding classes.

William & Mary founded 1693 oldest public by almost 100 years over the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill branch. The heels do like hiring senior AARP members as their football coaches.

Older, but didn’t become a public until 1906.

UGA was chartered first.

So I say a lot of really nice things about your school and you come back with that crap. You are making a liar out of me - people will think Carolina is just low class losers.

I have generally found that the most low class UNC fans are not the alums but those who like the teams but couldn’t get in. Bet you look good in ECU purple.

And by the way, Ridgewood is a really nice place where 90% of the posters here wish they could live.

Their grads usually work for Duke alumni.

I’m convinced the negativity is one person. I was quite enjoying the little history lesson, but had to get another in. Take a deep breath, we get it, you don’t like UNC and that’s okay.

Their athletic rivalry with Duke inflates the prestige at Chapel Hil. Duke is Duke!

Yeah, Virginia is lacking in strong privates, but good public. It’s fun having strong schools in close proximity each with their own wheelhouse. It creates a good friendly vibe. People are more chill here and less uppity.
