No. But I think this touches on the heart of the issue for you. Your friendships maybe all your relationships are transactional and based on bean counting things are not done out of thoughtless . So now you feel obligated to repay her with an equal gift and you aren't comfortable spending that amount on her yet. The issue isn't her at least not based on what you have shared. The issue is your very messed up relationship views
