This seems to be especially true with my Asian neighbors. Almost all of them drive Lexus LX580 or LS500. All of them had multiple bad experiences with American made cars, with the exception of Tesla. FWIW, I drive the Lexus NX300.

This is stupid and untrue. McLean loaded with Jeeps of all kinds and Broncos of all kinds. Also lots of pick up trucks in McLean as third or Fourth car.
+1 Plenty of Ford F150’s. I see GMs in McLean neighborhood, too.

American cars charge phones when the engine is off. That is worth its weight in gold.

I don't think I have ever owned an American brand car - I've had VWs, Porsche, Volvo, BMW, Mini Cooper, Honda, Subaru. But currently thinking about getting a Ford Bronco, which are getting good reviews. I looked at Jeeps but despite the popularity, they get terrible reviews for reliability.

Rich high school kids in DC and southern suburbs get Broncos and Jeeps. Broncos are on the upswing given recent reliability issues with Jeeps.

Love my Ford Bronco. However, it's the first American car I've ever owned.

At one point American tax payers owned some of Ford, GM and Chrysler . Ford was the first to pay us pay though.

Agree.
My two sisters and I all drove those big SUVs to assist with hauling our kids ( 6 total) and others kids around.

Sister 1 Ford Expedition
Sister 2 Suburban and
Me GMC Denali

Very fun times ..

You'll also see other videos saying Kia and Hyundai, though.

Besides Rivian, American car manufacturers suck.
