Look, SC is as backwards as the rest of the states, including parts of VA. I’m hoping in 20-30 years, the south will have modernized a lot more in a lot of ways.

That said, DC just finished freshman year in the business school at SC and loves it. Got merit aid enough to make it the same cost as in state VA and a scholarship and made tons of friends from all over the country, without having to join a fraternity/sorority. They also did well academically but were challenged and learned a lot. Not worried about getting a job either.

People can keep bashing the SEC schools but we’re happy.

On average, SC has an 81% job placement rate after three months of graduation (higher for intl bus and lower for fields like marketing…rest are all about the average).

Seems OK…but nothing special.

Is this higher than national average? Do you have a cite or just making shit up?

It’s a Google search combined with looking at the placement stats for undergrad that the school itself advertises.

You are free to do both…but you sound like a lazy piece of shit which is most of DCUM.

The “national average” is meaningless across 3000 four year colleges.

You don’t want to cite your data and you want to call me a lazy piece is shit? Why would national average be meaningless? You know SC is above national average but that doesn’t fit your pathetic narrative LOL nobody is falling for your shit

Again…a lazy piece of shit that wants others to literally just type a search of the SC website.

I guess if the national average is brought down by schools with 100% acceptance rates that aren’t even ranked by USNEWs and others and SC is above that…well congrats.
