JMU vs. Clemson - Business

Anonymous
If you can afford it Clemson.
Is there a difference in business outcomes between the two colleges? None.
You’d be paying for the college experience of Clemson.

Putting down another school does not elevate yours.

If kid wants to work in dc after graduation, JMU is a great place to have alumni connections.

To me it is not worth an extra $120k for 4 years of Clemson vs JMU business.

Agree. To me the only benefit is that Clemson is a more fun college town, is warmer, and has a tad more recognition for its business school. If it had a much better business program, then I would highly consider. I just don't see the advantage in the long run when it comes to internships, job outlook, etc.

Wrong. Harrisonburg is a better college town. At least JMU is actually known for business.

Sorry, but no it isn’t. They are both good schools. Clemson isn’t any “better.”

Smarter kids (based on incoming student stats), foyiner girls, better weather, better sports, better outcomes, better name recognition on a national level. And yes, it's ranked much higher.

OMG the idiot is back. Foyiner girls? Please tell me you don't say this in public. Its so cringe!!! For real, I'm helping you out. Don't talk like this in front of others.

Whenever that idiot shows up, I know to do exactly the opposite of whatever he advises.

I have to wonder if PP has even been to Clemson. There is *nothing* there - certainly not a “more fun college town.”

I mean, that’s how it works with waitlists. It’s fine, they lose their deposit and that’s it. This is allowed and anticipated by colleges!

Whatever makes you feel better, buddy

Clemson is not better. Especially if you have to pay more than in-state for JMU.

JMU in-state is a great value for a good school

JMU is a safety for when you don't get into your Clemson safety.

Had zero interest in applying, but I’m glad they made you feel better.

VA people unless your child is going to UVA no one cares about your state schools. Clemson's recognition is national JMU is regional. Outside of this area JMU and Longwood are the same -unknowns
