OP, your inability to speak up is what brought on this entire situation. "No," my dear, is a complete sentence---one you should have used many times over the short visit you describe in your post. "May I..." NO. "Mind if I..." Please DON'T. Eight weeks in, the lesson you need to learn is how to build walls around your child when necessary. You keep referencing making strong looks. Good luck with that. Open your mouth and say, "It's time to give me back the baby," and mean it. Boundaries, dear. You set the boundaries around your child. Work on it. |
