How do you handle inconsequent/irresponsible guests? (long)

I think it might be her as well. She is also over on the nanny forum all afternoon today trying hard to pick a fight with her "classy" posts. Her posts on the nanny forums are all around the same time period as well. The only thing is, the English, though poor on this one is a lot better than her usual material (which might explain why it took her 3hrs to write). I think she must be unemployed, but if not, I feel sorry for the children she watches. Nanny cams were invented for people like her. |

| Well she swears that she is a mom now. That she "used" to be a nanny. Also, English is either her 3rd or 4th language. She never uses spaces between her paragraphs and she has a very specific "voice" in her posts. I know it's her right away when I read something she writes. |

The point is, that we are simply pointing out to readers that the author of the Original Post is a regular here who is a few eggs short a dozen. It puts the post and subsequent responses in perspective. We all now realizing we are dealing with someone very immature who has some deep personal problems. |

This is the OP again. I was sitting for dinner with a friend today (who is also a participant here) and she's one of you saying this post is a fake. When I told her this was me and who the guest in discussion is she could picture the whole train wreck happening right before her eyes.
My friend has met this couple and this woman was trouble in my life before that's why if you knew me this would make sense. This great friend pointed out that TTC drugs can contribute to various changes in mood and behavior thus explaining this woman's weird behavior. I don't owe you ladies anything and that's one of the reasons why I'm here. I would never do anything to hurt DH's relationship with his friend that's why I thought sucking it up would be the right thing to do. Today as he came back from work we talked and told me his friend called to apologize for his wife's behavior. They also asked if the baby was doing fine and begged us to let them know if the baby gets sick (like it would help in any way... whatever). I knew exactly what was coming when I posted this and I just wanted to know what was the right thing to do and you taught me exactly what I needed to learn (one way or the other, being nice or being nasty). I'm wise enough to get the message ignoring the messenger (not sure if this expression makes sense in English). Thank you very much for your insight. Next time such thing happens I'll be ready to go. |
