Bought a Tesla now I hate it and want to get rid of it but will lose money on it

For us personally, we have a Tesla and we are quite ok with owning it. Die hard liberals but not idiots. Also, since we are non-White, non-Christian legal, naturalized immigrants we were able to see clearly which way the wind was blowing in this country.

I’ll keep driving mine. It’s a 2023, I did check Carvana, price is woefully low. I like not having to put in gas. Will likely sell when warranty is up.

Suspension is terrible on my Y. Think it’s a safe car unless the impact explodes the battery or you accidentally go in reverse at your lake house due to lack of gear stalk. Think plug in hybrid is the way to go for my next car. Range anxiety is real. Going to superchargers is kinda not fun.

We've taken ours on multiple long trips, no range anxiety, chargers are literally everywhere like gas stations at every major exit. On the other hand, Kia we rented a couple of times before would give me horrible range anxiety because scarce chargers that are hard to find, often driving extra time off of the exit only to find half of the chargers broken. Tesla is still the most practical choice for the EV in this country based on its charging network alone and a decent range. if you drive locally and charge at home there is zero range anxiety. It's all political propaganda is disgusting. Coercing working class people to sell their perfectly functional cars at a huge loss to make a political statement in this economy is tone deaf.

BIL left Tesla a few years ago and recently purchased a Kia for his first EV. He has the money to purchase anything he wants. I was surprised he didn’t choose a Tesla given he was an engineer for them, there are Tesla chargers everywhere and it is harder to charger the Kia. When asked he really didn’t want to comment on his reasoning. It really was a head scratcher. Not so much anymore. He obviously knew what some of us didn’t after seeing Musk in action. It’s not politics. Musk is just an awful awful human.

I am driving in peace, and I am not taking a loss, I had made my purchasing decision based on many other vehicles I tried including other EVs. +1 I started to hate him during the Thai boys soccer cave in when Musk called the rescue team member a pedo because he declined to use Musk's minisub.

That event showed how little and petty Musk is, just like Trump. Two peas in a pod. That what is in 2018. I refused to even look at a Tesla after that.

I don't "hate" anyone, but that same incident alerted me to his problematic mental state. Also I don't blame anyone for owning a Tesla. I do judge Cybertruck drivers because those cars are just complete shite
