Religious resistance to Trump

This is Highly unlikely IMO -

1. Trump won’t be able to repatriate Palestinians from Gaza as both Jordan and Egypt have rejected this proposal.

2. Only a quarter of the world’s peoples identify as Christians. There are an estimated 10k religions in the world. Both India and China the two most populated countries in the world are secular states with no official state religion.

But who knows where all this current insanity will end?

The PP was sarcasm and related to the post about the end of days and the antichrist.

Oh that makes sense - darkly funny -

I am horrified by the treatment of long suffering Palestinians in Gaza … I had wanted to make a dark joke about the aforementioned world temple being on a mass grave site but thought it inappropriate given how much Palestinians have been through already and are being treated now …

But that sarcasm was pitch perfect

Those carve outs will eventually go away because of the leadership structure, loyalties, and international memberships of those churches.

Citation?

The citation is go read about the dangerous theology of the New Apostolic Reformation and the unholy transactional alliance between them and the tech oligarchy that’s already started dismantling government (See Dark Gothic MAGA Curtis Yarvin, Thiel, et al). The evangelicals vote for Trump because his puppet masters will give them the social control they desire. That social control also makes it much easier for the oligarchy to carry out their agenda. Both the Catholic Church and the LDS Church are global. The allegiance of their members is ultimately supposed to be to their Pope and Prophet respectively. The oligarchs will turn on them when they no longer need their votes and/or muscle. It can’t tolerate competition and potential shelters for dissent.

This post was originally about African Americans and their current struggle for freedom and equality but now we are talking about Palestinians...see this what happens...whenever black people talk about our issues it turns into eveyone saying "what about me!"

What about the poor white people experiencing reverse discrimination and support Trumps efforts to dismantle woke and diversity initiatives.

OP - It was intended to be primarily about religious resistance to Trump.

They are not supposed to be talking about politics. Why is this allowed?

It's okay. There are plenty of pro Trump pastors. But you didn't mean them did you?

This is the danger of your statement. What you said is nonsense.

No pastor should be talking about politics to their congregation. Full stop.

NP. Of course we know there are pro-Trump pastors. “Prosperity Gospel” is deeply rooted in white supremacy. This is well-documented. People dress bigotry and greed up in religious trappings; nothing we didn’t know about that.

The vast majority of Christians dislike the prosperity gospel and do not consider it actual Christianity because it has zero to do with Jesus Christ.

Are you a Christian?

I think you are conflating white evangelicalism with pentecostalism, the latter in some elements peddles the prosperity gospel, and mostly in its black churches (here and in Africa). You are showing you have no idea what these terms mean even though you intend well.

And really it doesn't take much to offend the Trumper. Evidently asking fir them to show mercy is highly offensive. Night as well throw out the Bible.
