| Nice opportunity for the kids to see why they want to grow up to be law abiding citizens and not triple agents. Not worth the drama. Lesson learned. |
That was my guess too |
| Try to spread the word to leftists that they shouldn’t go to people’s homes to protest things they disagree with? |
No, OP just wants to know his security plans for no particular reason. |
Err... It's United States Secret Service. If you want to correct someone, can you at least be right? |
So now putting up pride flags makes a person “overly aggressive”? |
|
The SS in DC have proven themselves to be really trigger-happy and they just shoot off their guns at the slightest suspicion.
Walls don’t stop bullet holes, OP. You have every reason to be worried. |
Just stop. You are the problem. Just because someone wants privacy in their home does not make them a problem. All the bizarre signage is actually YOU being aggressive. |
|
Title says: “safety of neighbors.”
That’s the topic here: Safety of neighbors, ok? And because the SS has guns, the OP feels it’s unsafe. What can’t any of you follow the topic here? |
This. They have probably done background checks on you and might go through your trash or access your online data. |
|
File a law suit against them?
Complain to hoa? Call police on them for showing guns to school kids? Make up stuff and report them for it? I am sure any of those would end well for you. NIMBY is a hard way to live. Move to some remote part of Alaska or buy a private island is best option. |
Then why can’t the person who started this thread just ask the secret service to assign an unarmed security detail to the neighbor’s house? Seems a simple enough solution. |
|
It'll be fine. We had a member of Biden's cabinet in our neighborhood. All of us eventually just became part of the scenery. I'd occasionally joke with my Dh to keep our hands visible when getting out of the car.
The secret service is well trained. As long as you don't sprint at this person yelling things, they are not going to shoot you. |
Maybe yes. You can be critical, but be careful of saying anything that could be a threat. But also, they don't have time for much digging on everyone so just stay off this guy's lawn and you'll be fine. |
Then they move to a gated community. People have a right to peacefully assemble and express themselves in public spaces, including public streets where politicians live. |
