Why aren't people protesting?

The only thing this new GOP crowd understands is the bottom line. Buy less. Cancel that Prime membership. Get off social media and do not buy from influencers. Research companies before buying from them or investing in them. Spend more time in nature. Do good deeds. Give to charities.

We will shop for food at the farmer's market and stores whose policies align with our values.

Time to to also spend less time in front of screens anyway, and more time in nature. Our money will be mostly directed towards international travel.

Clearly, the only thing that really matter is money and I intend to use it accordingly.

Lots of farmers voted for Trump. Are you going to ask them before you buy their kale? What is your litmus test for small business owners? What small companies that align with your values offer international travel?

DP. Of course they voted for him. They love taxpayer handouts. Many were included in a Wall Street Journal article saying that their businesses still hadn't recovered after Trump tanked the sector, and gave them the handouts. I'm not going to cry if they go out of business when Trump deports their workers. I have land and can grow my own food. Screw em.

I live in a blue state and the amount of “I don’t like Trump but…” comments I have heard are insane.

I know maybe three who think that and they are in the billionaire category. Everyone else - not secretly happy.

I’m in California and I’ve heard it multiple times. I do not think you understand the white-hot rage people feel towards the Democrats right now, right after the fires.

There are no protests here in California for a reason.

Don't worry Californian! Trump will be going to your beautiful state on Friday and agrees with you that Dems cannot fight fires. But, he will fix it! On Friday, the state will stop burning. I'm sure he's bringing MAGA firefighters for you. Alas!

You are so full of crap. The only twinge of happiness coming from the left is seeing the Leopard’s ate my face look at all the people who didn’t think Trump would screw them. Police union sad he pardoned people involved in violence against cops? Womp womp. Oh no granny who voted for Trump worried about drug prices? Oh well.

Different PP but I also buy from Black farmers. No worries there.

You cannot tell a company to produce this product at this price in this quantity of this quality. It's a fallacy.

Your social engineering is the cause of many of the economic problems in this country. Stop trying to control everything. You're actually having the opposite effect of what you think you are.

A zillion times ^^^ THIS ^^^

Dems, liberals and progressives truly believe they’re the smartest people in the room - ANY room - and are embodying some divine right to manage everyone around them. They seem to have this bizarre sense of entitlement to treat everyone like their pet. Like the entire world is a SimCity or FarmVille game, and a perfect world can be created if we’d all just stop resisting them and do what they tell us to.

And they can’t see this. They don’t see how they look to everyone else. It’s maddening.

DP. Well said. And the best is when they woefully shake their heads and sadly claim that we were “duped” or couldn’t possibly “understand” the implications of our vote. It is indeed maddening, but also pretty comical. These people have ZERO self-awareness.

It is maddening. I don’t think I’m smarter than everyone else but it’s dumbfounding how people can support Trump. It’s not a difference of political perspectives. That ship sailed long ago. It’s bananas that the GOP gets to claim it’s the party of patriotism and Christianity when its actions are so antithetical to both of those things.

I heard TRump will pardon Jeffrey Epstein and Osama bin Laden. No one will protest. Mock outrage is a right wing thing. It has to start with Fox News never organically.

This time Trumpers knew what they were voting for, and they still turned out to vote for it. A third of eligible voters didn't even bother to show up.

This time we all get what we get, including all the right wingers who voted for this guy and his tribe of the far right. I'm all for his voters feeling all the consequences of their vote.

Oh, but you loved Silicon valley when they were censoring, shadow banning, banning accounts and killing off speech for your cause. But you can't see it, can you?

I love this. So, something true

There won't be any to pick their kale. So it's not like we're even going to be able to buy it. These farmers who voted for Trump get what they get.

Oh look it’s the CEO of a major company posting on DCUM…oh wait it is some loser in their basement who has never done anything.

There are things that he is trying to do that shouldn't be controversial on both sides - like ending lowering drug prices. I think it's time to start speaking up and protesting again! Just silently rolling our eyes isn't helping.

We need to focus on issues US voters care about.

Stop the overwhelming immigration and win elections

Really? You’re going to dig in and research everything you buy and do to make sure they live in your bubble too? What about the apple device you’re using to post here? You do know the CEO was at the inauguration.

And how do you plan on traveling overseas? How exactly are you planning on getting there? You will have to use Big Airline, and I’m sure none of the airlines fully align with these “values” of yours
