Why aren't people protesting?

There are things that he is trying to do that shouldn't be controversial on both sides - like ending lowering drug prices. I think it's time to start speaking up and protesting again! Just silently rolling our eyes isn't helping.
It’s simple, “Resistance is Futile.”

My wife who gave me hell for 4 years during Trump's 1st term actually voted for Trump this time. Her issues were the risk of a global war, the woke BS, and she was really upset by the males in female sports. Then came Kamala, and she just threw up her hands in frustration and couldn't believe that was the best the Democrats and Republicans could offer. She held her nose and voted to get off the Biden/Harris trajectory.

While you and your wife complain about the fewer than 1000 trans in high school or the price of eggs (which have gone up 40% since Jan 20) Elon Musk has stolen your social security numbers and taken control of the US flow of money. Musk has also pulled USAID workers from around the world back to the US ceding to China all of the work the US has done for the last 50 years to try to maintain some sense of global security.

Your wife sounds pretty dim. Hope the global war thing works out for her.

Give it a rest. He exposed the massive slush fund that is USAID. Unless you are on the take, you should be thanking him. As taxpayers, we should all be grateful he is doing auditing these agencies.

Dumb take.

Enjoy the terrible fallout.

You have no idea what an audit is, clearly. It isn't this.

Re “fewer than 1000 trans” comment, this must be the Dem approved response to this b/c I see it over and over.

The realty is that it’s offensive to see bio-men compete in women’s sports even one time, and it ruins the event for all involved, which is likely 10x-20x the 1000 you quote.

Dems need to stop gaslighting on this issue, your bots need to be reprogrammed. Or lose the next election spouting the same nonsense.

I agree that auditing Federal agencies and cutting some fat is necessary if we're ever going to be serious about tackling debt and budget shortfalls. Perhaps downsizing, combining, or shutting down agencies is feasible without loss of necessary services and/or protections for the American people. A thorough auditing process of a Federal agency that could render such findings can't be done in two weeks. Placing a majority of Fed employees on leave and shutting down agency websites at this juncture in an "auditing" process is absurd.

I give Trump credit for highlighting some key issues our government and country face that other political leaders have turned a blind eye to but his remedy actions and stated plans always seem to expose a person that thinks they are a lot smarter than they actually are. Perhaps Trump could have been an effective political advisor at some point in his life but know-it-alls with zero integrity should not be making POTUS level decisions.

Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt falsely declaring Democratic leaders are inciting violence and must be held accountable. We’ll see what the fascists actually do, but they’re laying foundation of permission for political arrests.
