Usha Vance - Fashion Thread

As someone who is busty, I always feel sort of confused when I see small chested women wear looks that would be fantastic on me, instead of the very elegant cuts I always wish I could wear. It’s so perplexing.

I'm still not a fan of the bustline on that dress, but that's nitpicking.

She looks great there. And I think this photo obscures her waist, which I think is much more defined than it looks in this photo.

The bottom fit is so much more flattering, and the overall look is much better. I don't know what she's punishing her own boobs for, though -- I feel like I'm an unwilling participant in something. But otherwise lovely.

She may be uncomfortable with accentuating them/wearing a more pushup style. That's my take on it.

Now just dye those greys and we'll be in a much better place.

I wouldn't dye my grays if I were her. She has such dark hair that she would constantly need touch-ups.

Her gray also looks elegant, natural, and it's not hugely noticeable. I hope she keeps it.

No, it's that the pushup style she wears gives her hangover fat at the sides, by her armpits. She's not a chunky person, so it's a strange choice -- why not wear a fitted but still relatively flat chest that doesn't squeeze what she has into her armpits? I don't get it.

Probably but the woman can barely manage a bra and comb most days so whatever

Weirdly I bet you didn't think it was sexist when I said Jill Biden dressed like shit lol.

Of course not. There is a group of posters here who freak out the second you say anything even mildly negative about Usha. I actually think it may be family members given the obsession with quelling any discussion of her.

I don't think she dresses well and frankly I don't even think she's that pretty. I do think the Cabinet dinner was the best she's ever looked. Huge step up from some of her past appearances, including, some of her greatest hits like "shoes that were falling apart at the sole" and "constantly brushing hair out of her face while speaking because she didn't bother to brush it before going on stage."

They would be less noticeable if they weren't so aggressively personal about it.

I think no necklace, but maybe a drop earring instead of the diamond studs (though the studs are beautiful too, but they disappear in the photos).

She needs to stop it with strapless - her shoulders and arms are great but they would look better in a halter

+1 This level of overspill in a custom garment almost suggests someone was deliberately doing her dirty. It's not a hard area to fit, and a reputable designer should've done better.

The cut is "high and tight" like an attempt at modesty; the fix would be to increase the cup size, allowing her breast tissue to sit where it should (instead of being pushed up into her armpits in this dress, or "double bubbled" in the earlier). It has the opposite effect though, drawing attention to her goofy bustline. And without a necklace or something else to move your eyes to, it's just even more obvious.

I'm the poster who initially posted about the first dress smooshing her into four breasts -- there is nothing wrong with her body. She is perfectly normal. The dresses are just cut to fit a different body.
