Only if they change their name to VDA.
I asked this question earlier, but an answer got lost in the shuffle of angry internet trolls, so let me try again. How did VSA go from bottom of the able U11 to top at U12 for Pre-ECNL?

Where does VDA train?

I think between Haymarket and Woodbridge.

What is the rationale for this? I truly don't understand.

Arlington 2013 white is playing 2012 girls 11v11 and they haven't lost a game yet. I do think it's good to play on the full field, but I wish they played more competitive teams.

5th place- Lost to McLean and ARL; tied with VSA and VYS
They might be looking into some changes for ECNL

What are you talking about? There are plenty of Vienna girls on Union…

2013 mclean is stacked and likely best age group. This is followed by 2013 loudoun. Very low probability outside those two clubs. Another twist with loudoun is a rumor that TD has been recruiting girls outside loudoun.

That's correct, they got 2 GFR 2014G mid-season to play up with Loudoun 2013, with 15 kids on a 9v9 game, how fun!

As PP noted, they had a rough second half of the fall season.
untrue they only had 1 loss. 1 loss pre ecnl and 0 losses in EDP 11v11

Maybe the wrong team is linked, but Rankings app shows them losing all three games at Raleigh tournament. Note also I said relative to what you’d expect, as some of the wins and draws were perhaps not as convincing as you might expect from Loudoun’s top team.
ah a hater. you realize several of the top girls are not always available. Pretty sure below link shows a massive GD in EDP
https://system.gotsport.com/org_event/events/34067/schedules?team=2313368

they were playing 2012 teams you goober. They arent going to place them in top division. In a lot of games top girls dont play. VPSL same thing. And they only have 1 loss in VPSL. And guess what 3 top girls didnt play in that game.

No dog in this fight here, but looking at Soccer Rankings, they beat up on the local competition real well whether EDP or VPSL. But when you look at tournaments against other top teams out of state: At WAGS, beat the Charlotte SA second team (which will become on of their two ECRL teams), tied a second level Solar Team, and tied a NJ pre-GA team. At NCFC, lost to the top (will become ECNL teams) from CSA (NC), GSA (Georgia), and Select (Mass).
as said many times many of the girls were unavailable. Some played with 2012 NVA. Another plays with boys teams. Other play some other sports. The only team that can hang with them is mclean.

Maybe. Are they moving all 2013s/nepo 2014s into this one group?

Sorry, no more room, everyone.
its worse, they are likely picking up girls who played with copas. And there are several already on 2022 NVA. There are going some unhappy loudoun 2013 families after tryouts

Are there any patterns for how U13 VDA teams typically are formed? X% from VSA, y% from PWSI, and z% from outside clubs? Is there a sense yet for how competitive the 2013s will be when they reach VDA?

PWSI has the second best u12 boys team in the area so VDA will be strong unless those players leave to MLSN clubs.

How is this fair for tthe rest of the girls on this team whose work their butts off and only focus on soccer?

The “fair for the rest of the girls” perspective doesn’t resonate with me, but the general approach does seem rather dysfunctional. Might at least partially explain the recent struggles NVA has been having.

Those without the real commitment to soccer as their primary sport will wash out but unfortunately its not until about U15. Keep Grinding.

Also to the SuperCopa reference, I know many of these families well. They know how to advocate for their girls. If the GA allure isnt there for the SYC ones, they will grab a couple, but when the rubber hits the road, LSP is a hike.
