The only 2013 GA teams in the DMV that might beat a 2013 ECNL team in the DMV are NVA and SYC. All other GA teams would get slaughtered by BSC, Union, Arlington, and VDA. Revolution is in first place in 2013 GA South Midatlantic and they lost to VDA 7-0. And NVA just lost to BSC 2-0.
BTW, the OP asked about 2014 teams.
You do know rankings app tracks all? You may want to retract stagement. Even the mighfy unionlost to GA team
My comment was limited to DMV GA teams, and the only such team Union has lost to is SYC, which is consistent with my comment.
Look in MD, similar results. 2013GA is strong. Main reasoning is increase in GA and ECNL clubs do not have pool of kids to recruit from as they did in the past.
I did say DMV, but I actually meant DC metro area, which as a practical matter means the teams in VA that play in the GA Midatlantic South, since there are no MD GA teams in the DC metro area (unless you want to stretch beyond Montgomery and PG counties). More specifically, NVA, SYC, REV, MYS, LOU, ALX, and TSJ. For 2013, other than NVA and SYC, these GA teams are not even remotely competitive with BSC, FXU, ARL, or VDS. I’m not making a GA comment, I’m making a comment about GA teams around DC. If GA wants to be competitive around DC, they need to consolidate these teams.
