Is it possible to check out and move to a different hotel? I’d see if another hotel is available and tell them you want a refund of the remaining nights. Then move unless they “make it right.” |
I’d find the cheapest other hotel then ask for a refund and leave. Tell your bank they didn’t give you what you paid for |
Brilliant. Or just sleep on the road outside the hotel to make your point. If you can’t get exactly what you want, go apesh!t. |
Except...they did get what they paid for. The original reservation was for a lower room type, and the upgrade fee was refunded. |
I'm a DW and I am exceptionally good at this. My DH would be too nervous to ask for anything. |
What city/country is this hotel in? |
What ended up happening? Report back OP!
|
And when they book their travel for that small claims case, they can try again for the same room. |
Sounds good. Unless they decide they prefer their new room, in which case they could try to get that one when they return. |
Please report back OP. |
I'd sue where I paid. They advertised to my in that jurisdiction and accepted payment there |
And he's probably embarrassed of you. |
Isn't this one of the many plots of Season 1 the White Lotus? |
You can dispute charge on your credit card. If it's a hotel chain, email the CEO's office. That is what I do and they pass it to someone to deal with it. Also tweet them. |
