I work in advertising and have done a lot of political ads.
The concept of this one is good but it's extremely poorly executed and acted and clearly produced by a political ad firm who do not have enough experience to follow through on the creative in such a way that it fully 'lands'. Which is sad bc it could have been good. If this cut landed on my desk i'd fire everyone involved in making it. Amateur hour. |
Because it’s gross. That’s why. |
I think it's the only kind of ad that gets through to men who are obsessed with sex. If they vote republican this election, they can count on losing their porn access. And also losing access to most women -- every dude will have to be baby worthy and able to support a child in order to prove themselves worth to get to have sex, if there is limited access to contraception for women and health care for women. |
There are clear plans to outlaw abortion nationally using the Comstock Act. Attorneys General in 3 states have challenged the availability of the abortion pill on the grounds that reducing teen births injures their states because it will reduce their representation in congress (population will go down if teens have fewer babies). It is not a done deal that a national abortion ban will happen, but Trump will be handing power to those that want it. Right now pregnant women are avoiding travel to the states with Trump abortion bans because they fear for their health should they have a health event in those states where doctors could be jailed for providing necessary healthcare. You can lie to yourself that this is not real but it is, in fact, a lie. |
| This ad was done by someone with a very low opinion of young adult men. Next week the question could arise: “How come we did so poorly with young adult men?” |
The entire Harris campaign towards men has been absolutely bizarre. I find it incomprehensible. |
|
This is the stupidest thing ever, appealing to supposed conspiracy theorists who really think someone in the government is “watching” them somehow? LOL.
They aren’t gonna fall for it |
They would never ever force people to use programs like Covenant Eyes like speaker of the house Mike Johnson uses with his son. That would be super intrusive which the government never is. |
|
Republicans CLAIM to not want intrusive government yet they want to insert government into consentual relationships and marriages because of whatever the couples' gender is, they want to inspect the genitalia of little girls as young as 5 before letting them use the bathroom or play sports.
"Get big government out of our lives" is a huge lie that Republicans tell. |
Even if that’s true, other ads did great with young men, like this one |
Nobody buys the inspecting genitalia hysteria, you creeper. A cheek swab for athletes is entirely reasonable. The fact you go to genitalia is why you are losing hugely on the related issues, because you are absolutely creepy and nobody normal wants anything to do with that. |
You truly believe that this isn't fake propaganda produced by any one of the Trump sympathizers? You can't really be that gullible. |
| Kamala gonna help him finish!!! |
I agree. Have you seen the lie to your husbands commerical? |
