The ad was probably trying to use an "all publicity is good publicity" approach to getting their name out there. And it worked. Here we are talking about whether simulated masterbation is now considered decent enough to weave into political ads.

This ad isn’t for mommies on DCUM
Here’s the thing. You guys did a bad job with your boys. They suck. They couldn’t hack it in college and they can’t get dates. They can’t join the military because they’re too fat.
They are mad about consent being such a big deal now. They think getting married means they have a maid at home that is supposed to F them every day, and are confused that young women aren’t interested.
I’m assuming the internet and social media was an unexpected monkey wrench thrown into your child rearing, and that you older parents didn’t mean to screw it up so badly, but here we are: the misogynistic aholes that you raised don’t want to vote for the nice non crazy lady running for president. This is pointing out the very real goal of Trump, project 2025 and Trump’s Christian Nationalist agenda: taking away the right of people to consume porn in the privacy of their home.

Face it, this ad is effective because it tells the truth of what an authoritarian regime will regulate including porn consumption. If you rae offended by this, then clearly you are offended by the candidate caught having sex with a porn star while his wife was home with a newborn, right?

Agreed. I'm a man who is center right, watch porn privately sometimes, and would absolutely hate any reality when I'm being monitored at this level. I found the ad very effective.

That said, it's not even an ad made by Harris' team. Seems to be another separate liberal PAC. Also, there's no "I'm Kamala Harris and I approve of this ad" on it and it's not being promoted on her social media.
