No but I’ll show her this later and she’ll think it’s fun to read. |
It’s good, communicating on that topic is something that I have gotten better with over time. |
So you’re a divorced father with your 2 or so kids 100% of the time? Or 50% of the time? And your second wife has a teen child some or all of the time too? Why wouldn’t you include this info in your Op? It’s basic background. Troll |
This is the OP’s OP? And then “he” has a bunch of reveals scattered around. Lol |
6:17am!! You missed your workout! |
Let’s ask the fake Wife #1 and that family. |
Widowed father of 2, new wife has 2 kids one in HS on in college. I dunno I just made the post on a whim this morning after reading the miserable DH thread. |
It was actually during the workout. |
Which of your wives are you referring to above? Get ur false stories straight. |
Oops, forgot to add I’m widowed. Yeah just pick whichever wife for my previous long fake comment in how she planned my whole life and what we’re doing for years and years. Yeah. |
Silence |
To humblebrag, as evidenced by your (troll) post! |
I'm the PP to whom you responded. I think people tend to complain more than they praise, so you're going to get skewed stats if you're looking at threads to see how many great husbands there are out there. I also always think, as someone with a great partner and husband, that I am very lucky. Not that we haven't worked on our relationship, because we have, but when I read some of those posts I don't feel like I'm better than any of those women or that they aren't trying as hard to make their marriages work. So that's great that you would handle things differently than the men who are complained about, but I'm not entirely sure if that helps those women at all. Just some perspective. |
lol it’s amazing how much animosity my true story generated. First wife did have a plan in terms of kids/house/location and am currently living that. |
The husbands I know in real life are generally nothing like the ones mentioned on here a lot. I honestly don't know why that is. I imagine some of it is because of course I don't truly know what goes on behind closed doors, I only know what I see (although I do think I have seen a lot with some families). The rest of it I don't know. Perhaps it's our SES level. Perhaps it's our self-selecting group of friends. |
