The issue now will be that there are now 2 BY ages groups within one school year.

8/1/2010 to 7/31/2011.

There are kids still 12 months apart.

Newsflash, for most kids in club soccer, it is rec. If I've learned anything from this thread, it's that almost 100% of the narcissistic aholes with zero empathy love BY. And, shockingly, their kids don't give a flying F about playing with friends nor can they understand the losers who do.

I am not sure how US Soccer will see youth leagues prioritizing College Soccer over their respective leagues.

I don’t think US Soccer goes out without a fight

Again for the 100th time no one said changing back would solve RAE. Nothing will. What it does is get rid of the trapped player issue created by changing from SY to BY.
Explain how having kids born in different calendar years an issue? Is math that challenging for you?

No, that was a conscious choice to go to school with kids younger than you. This is about the vast majority of kids.

If we are making up scenarios to fix the problem why not add another year or two to highschool. Then everyone will even out by time they graduate.

I'm going to assume your sample size doesn't reflect the vast majority. You can go back through almost 200 pages to find those with trapped players that are certainly for the change.
